What does tofu taste like?!
Answers:
Umm... like nothing. Well actually it's a little bit like bread but with much less flavor. The good thing though, is that it absorbs flavor really well so it will taste like whatever you decide to cook it in! :D
Vegetarian. I eat tofu almost every day!
Tofu it basically tasteless, it absorbs flavors well so it tastes like what ever you cook it with. Most people object to the texture rather than the taste, although many people can not make that distinction consciously. It goes very well with other foods with delicate flavors such as fresh vegetables, steamed rice or nuts.
it's not comparable to anything you have ever tasted before. it doesn't taste like cottage cheese, it's has a very distinct flavor, slightly tart, slightly nutty and slightly sour. it has a very delicate flavor but like the others said, it tastes however it's seasoned because it absorbs flavors to so well.
To me it doesn't have a very strong taste by itself, though it did once remind me of egg slightly, which was odd. The thing about tofu is that it absorbs the flavour of whatever you put it with, so it can taste like whatever you want it to taste like. :)
Nothing really. It's pretty tasteless and gross (in my opinion) unless you cook it in/with something. Just like any meat, it absorbs the flavor of what it's cooked in.
Kind of mild, depending on whether or not its flavored. Its not really a bad taste, sort of a bland taste. It takes on the flavor of whatever you cook it with.
Your profile pic reminds me of true blood :D
pfft, if youre vegetarian/vegan youd know by now. It tastes like cottage cheese sort of if its under cooked, but when its cooked right it can taste like chicken. Hot picture btw ;)
It tastes a bit nutty and just the TEENIEST tiny bit bitter/ sour but if you add it to something else, it basically becomes just a texture
nothing, unless you put soy sauce. Then it tastes like soy sauce.
To me it tastes like eggs that have no flavor.
