Is Almond milk safe to drink? Is it better than Soy milk?!

Question: Is Almond milk safe to drink? Is it better than Soy milk?
Answers:

it depends on the brand. diamond almond milk has carrageen in it as a thickener. carrageen is not very healthy either. if you can, it's best to make it at home (rice milk is far easier to make at home and less time intensive, you need to soak the almonds first). if you can't, read the labels. if you choose soy or rice, go for organic and unsweetened; and always look for milks that don't have carrageen in them.

almond, rice, and soy milks are all safe to drink in general. however, some people have digestion issues with soy milks because they are quite processed; some people take issue with carrageen being added to almond milks, i haven't heard anything negative about rice milks. if you have the time, get a good blender (you do not need anything as powerful as a vitamix) and a fine mesh strainer and make your own rice or almond milk. then you can control what goes in it.

Yes, it is safe, not sure what your concerns might be. It tends to be richer and sweeter than soy milk, so use accordingly. I personally prefer soy milk with tea or coffee, but almond milk may work if you looking for a richer taste for puddings, desserts etc.

As long as you don't have an almond allergy, it's fine

It's got a lot more Vitamin E than soymilk, but less protein, so it really depends what you need a little more of in your diet. I drink both, almond milk is yummy

Almond milk is delicious and I personally love it more than Soy milk. It tastes great by itself or in recipes or cereal.

I'm drinking a glass of Vanilla Almond milk right now!

Yes.
