Will my health suffer?!

Question: Will my health suffer?
I have recently started following my version of a Jain vegan diet. I am not eating any root vegetables, rhizomes, tubers, or bulbs. I am not consuming fungus or anything fermented or cultured with fungus (yeast, mushrooms, vinegar, tempeh, etc.) I will eat vegan yogurt, and I take a vegan B12 supplement, though. I am also not eating any sprouts. I am fully aware of the health benefits of both fermented food and sprouts. So, do you think my health will suffer for not eating them? Thanks!

Answers:

no reason you should suffer, otherwise Jains wouldn't exist.

Eat pumpkin for potatoes- or rice.
For the B12, eat miso, I don't believe it has bacteria in it, but is fermented using seawater. Seaweeds also have iodine and b12. Nori too.

SOybeans and tofu- stil eat them, fr the root veg, I'd just use rice, wholegrain oats, seeds and millet, quinoa istead. Lentils are pretty good, chickpeas, fava beans.

Marmite and vegemite are great things to eat. I love marmite, could eat it all day.

I think you should talk to a nutritionist. I would really miss onions and carrot juice and mushrooms. I am not a vegan but a near vegetarian as it improves the problems of Psoriasis. I have allergies to antibiotics and steroids, too

A very old hypothroid

Why are you cutting out root vegetables, mushrooms, or tempeh? Please talk to someone who knows a lot about nutrition. I never heard of this type of vegan. Can you explain more?
