Being vegetarian is a personal choice that one makes because of an inner calling. I think people should not worry about if they will get more respect or less respect from their peers if they become vegetarian or something. If they do so, they are just following the herd which doesn't call for any respect. They should just instead just go with what feels right from within. Great thinkers and seers have been ridiculed and disrespected. So if one is pesco vegetarian and they feel they don't belong either with vegetarians or with meat-eaters, they shouldn't worry about that. Personally I still respect them for who they are for making their choices. One shouldn't worry about all these labels too much, and just focus on what feels right to them.

Eating fish may be a good intermediate step to prepare for strict vegetarianism. But if one wants to keep eating fish, good for them. They are not vegetarians , per se, but good for them. And who cares about labels anyways. Good luck!

I think it is right to accept their beliefs and attitudes. However I agree that one less person eating meat won't cause a big difference. The animal will eventually die anyway and we would be overpopulated with them. As humans we are designed to eat meat, we have sharp teeth and our digestive system tells us this, so naturally we are not meant to be vegetarians. But of course there are a lot of issues of animal welfare on topics such as intensive farming. Now there are not just vegetarians but demi-vegetarians, lacto-vegetarians, lacto-ovo-vegetarians, pesco-vegetarians, and also vegans and fruitarians. I think these different types are silly and are just down to fusiness. You cannot be a vegetarian but pick and chose what meat you eat. I don't eat red meat because I do not like the texture and find it heavy but i do not call myself a demi-vegetarian.

Vegetarians aren't like "Aryans" at all. Aryans are born with blonde hair and blue eyes, so not everybody can be like that. Everyone can be vegetarian (anyone civilized anyway). I think pescatarianism is a step in the right direction and vegetarianism is two steps in the right direction. It's better not to kill fish if you have a choice.

By the way, I could barely read and understand your whole question.

Why would you compare vegetarians who don't eat fish to someone like Hitler?

Our diets have nothing to with "perfection" like you'd think. Vegetarians don't eat meat; it's simple as that. If you eat fish yourself, that is fine, but it doesn't make you a vegetarian. Don't harass people when they tell you the truth, because you already sent an e-mail to me about this.

Because you can't be a vegetarian and still eat meat. also, eating only one kind of animal doesn't mean more lives are saved. They could be pesci and eat fish every day. Or eat fish and chicken every day, and gelatin, lard, rennet, etc.

no
and yes
doesnt everyone feel special at times, usually cos of their choices?
thats hardly a veggie issue, its a human one

i relaly dont think comparing vegies to hitler works well
but ehe, you see what you want to see

I dont have less respect for them, its their choice what they eat but what annoys me is when they call themselves vegetarians when clearly they are not.

it's pescatarians.. understood?

they eat flesh.. that simple...

and thanks for your email.. now i got work to do.
