do you see pescco-vegetarians as "fake" vegetarians?!

Question: Do you see pescco-vegetarians as "fake" vegetarians?
Answers:

i see them as pescetarians
which truthfuly isnt vegetarian
its a seperate thing

if soemone wants to say they are veggie, but they eat fish, they can say it, but it doesnt make it true

i think its cool anyone wants to be veggie or vegan or pescitarian, but it does feel a little disrespectful when they insist they are what you are, when they arent, same as anything really
;-)

A vegetarian is someone who does not eat meat. Ok a fish is not necessarily 'meat' but you still have to kill the fish to eat it so I don't believe that pesco or even demi-vegetarians are 'real' vegetarians. there are lots of people out there who don't eat red meat or just eat fish and they do not call themselves vegetarian. They may just have specific preferences or be fussy.

I do not think of them as vegetarians at all.
If you are a vegetarian, you do not eat dead animals period. I do not eat animal flesh or innards. I do not drink anything with taurine, no gelatin, no white sugar.

I am A lacto-vegetarian slowing becoming vegan.

"Pescatarians" not pescco-vegetarians are those who adopt a meat-limiting diet. They are not vegetarians, so I wouldn't call them fake vegetarians. Vegetarians and pescatarians are not associated with one another.

I myself am a vegetarian, and my rule is:
'No food with a face'
So to me, pesco-vegetarians are 'fake'.
Also, 'vegetarians' who eat gelatin are also not proper vegetarians.

They aren't vegetarians at all.

Fish=Animal
Vegetarians don't eat animals.

Whoa, big news there.

I don't see them as vegetarians therefore i don't see them as fake, they're merely people who enjoy a specific type of meat or restrict their diet to a specific meat

They are fake and certainly not vegetarian. Fish are living creatures that have to be murdered to arrive on your plate.

I wouldn't call them fake, but I wouldn't call them vegetarians either.

Do you mean pescetarians??

That's nothing to do with vegetarianism; that's something seperate..

i dont see them as vegetarians at all
fake/pescco or otherwise

Well since they are not vegetarians, I don't see them as fake anythings.

No, I see them as people who aren't vegetarians.
