Hi ?,

The protein you're talking about is a good way to ADD to your daily nutrition. You can not replace good nutrition just by drinking protein powders, by no means. You need to eat plenty of tuna, chicken breasts, legumes, lots of green veggies, just to name a few.

My son was on a regimen for the weight lifting program while he played football in high school. He was given a great diet plan. His coach recommended the Whey Protein as an enhancer but told him to eat those that I've suggested. The main thing to remember is to continually keep your work-outs at twice a day and eat four meals. You will automatically lose the weight in the areas you need to, plus you will build muscle tone at the same time. Do not get discourage at first; muscle weighs more than fat, so you won't notice the weight loss for a few weeks. That's a good sign though.
Measure yourself. Arms, chest, waist, well everywhere, so you see the difference in this way and not so much on the scale. You need to drink your protein in the morning and afternoon only, with a lean breakfast and lunch ... that's the ***key***
Best2u,

Whey protien can be bad for you... some brands! They have a lot of fillers and the milk they use is pumped with bad stuff. Makes you very bloated and feeling like crap. Check the ingredients and make sure there's nothing artificial or weird sounding. There are tons of other protien powders out there you can try too. Vegetarian friendly too. Seems like everything these days has something animals snuck into it. I was so mad the valentines day conversation hearts had gelatin in them! Being veggie is a lot of work but worth it. Try some hemp protien powder!

Whey protein is actually really good for you in this situation especially since you are working out and need those extra nutrients and vitamins. Add this into your daily smoothie or shake and you will definitely gain muscle. Good-luck to ya lad!

It depends...and not on if you're skinny but it depends on what your exercise regimen and diet look like. Feel free to contact me if you want me to evaluate them.
