Don't try to substitute protein shakes for your normal protein. If you don't eat meat, eat a lot of protein rich vegetables. Beans, sweet potatoes, etc. Average 150lb person prolly needs around 60-80g protein a day.
Yes one serving is fine dude i also take protein shake but have it with fat free milk or water but that tastes junk, Also eat meals with lean chicken (no skin), fish, steak or ostrich fillet etc
