Am I growing out of eating meat?!

Question: Am I growing out of eating meat?
Lately, almost like ever since I turned 13, I started to get nauseas from eating seafood. I pretty much guessed thats common so I stopped eating all seafood. I used to love shrimp, lobster, crab, clam, all shellfish, no fish. Then I stopped eating all of that together.
Now, when I have meat for dinner, I simply take two bites and grow nauseas. Such as (from the past few weeks I remember) londen broil, hamburgers, turkey, meatloaf, meat sauce, etc.) The only thing I can sort of eat is chicken.
**Heads up, my sister (17) doesn't eat meat or fish either. She grows nauseas as well. But we never believed her. Just assumed she was picky.
~I'm simply curious to know why this is happening. It doesn't really bother me except the fact that I can loose vitamins and protein. But I do eat beans and eggs to replace meat.

Answers:

If you are growing nauseous, your body is telling you that it doesn't want that type of food anymore. So yes, your body is growing out of meat. I was raised a vegetarian. But over the last year or so, my body got nauseous if ate milk products, so I stopped taking milk and drastically reduced consuming milk products. Am almost vegan now. Yes, listen to your body, it will tell you what to do. Good luck!

Edit: You won't lose any vitamins or protein. In fact you will get more vitamins if you eat more fruits and veggies. As for protein, the need for protein is totally exaggerated. Even in the period of maximum growth spurt you experienced as an infant, you were getting only 7% of your total calories from protien (mother's milk). So normally you need 3-9% of your calories you consume to come from protien (unless you are doing some abnormal physical activity). Even if you eat just fruits and vegetables, there is at least 3-9% protien in all fruits and vegetables. So if you are eating enough calories, you will always get the protien you need. Also protien cannot be digested in the form it is eaten; the body breaks it down into amino acids which are needed for repairing your muscles; and all fruits and veggies have amino acids. There is plenty of amino acids in spinach.

No, although in my opinion that any obvious vegan would have, though meat isn't very healthy unless you're starving to death, you can really "grow out of meat."
I suggest talking to a doctor.
Until then, replacing with beans and eggs is smart!
But, also try to eat leafy greens for iron. If you don't, you will miss out of your iron needs.

I say talk to your doctor or parents, it could be something in the family. Try going vegetarian or vegan, but you have to be strict and still eat healthy if you think that meat is the problem.

No, you need protein to develop properly, especially at that age. Better to eat lean meat like chicken and fish with the occasional red meat steak.
