Are Odwalla and Naked smoothie juices healthy by them being pasteurized?!
Answers:
Because they are all natural fruit and have most or in some cases more vitamins that you need in a day, they are good for you. Because of the natural sugars in fruit, they do have sugar. Sugar is only a problem when it is refined/processed and when we eat so much that we cannot expend the energy. If all you are eating is that and some fruit/nut mix I can't imagine that you won't be burning off more than enough energy--even if you are just sitting at a desk all day. If you are doing something more labor intensive, you might want to consider adding some brown rice or bread to that meal.
Anyway--is it worth the cost--that's kinda up to you. I think its a little too pricey for me--if you really want smoothies you could probably buy $10 worth of fruit and make enough in a blender at home for a whole week and just bring a jar or canteen with a bit of it every day and keep the rest in the fridge or freezer--that would cost about 1/2 the price--and you wouldn't have all of those plastic bottles to toss out.
They are full of sugar.
