What foods can Vegans eat that is not plant based?!

Question: What foods can Vegans eat that is not plant based?
Solid real foods not from plants?

Answers:

Fungi- yeast, mushrooms, polypores, truffles, perhaps mould as well? Or that might be only for omnivores...
Algae- seaweed, nori
Bacteria- Acidophilus etc in yoghurt

If you think of the food chain, everything starts with the sun. The sun gives energy to plants, things eat the plants, other things eat them or we eat them.

Scientifically, by being a vegan, you are a herbivore..

Omnivore's eat both meat and plants.
Carnivore's eat only meat.
Herbivores eat only plants.

You only eat plants?.

Is rice not solid?
Bread?
Nuts?
Legumes?
Soycheese,
almond cheese, all that stuff?
Chickpeas, rice, naan and deep fried gluten are pretty darn solid, Peanut butter too.

If by real you mean a cow, that's not solid either, is it?
It's chewy, so is pressed thick tofu.

Just mushrooms and plants. Remember that "plant" covers a lot of ground... grains, legumes, seeds, and nuts are all from plants and are vegan-friendly. If you want something that feels more substantial, try seitan. It is chewy and dense and adds a nice texture.

Food is either animal or plant based. If it isn't animal, it is plant. Okay maybe fungus in an exception, but most people lump it into the plant category.

Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches :) dunkin Hines frosting, baked lays, pretzels, popcorn, sodas and juices, Popsicles, Teddy Grahams! Vegan ice cream yum! Pasta with marinate sauce, French fries :)

Oreos.

Mushrooms are plants. Plant food IS real food.

uhm.. water?
if it doesn't come from an animal, it pretty much comes from a plant..

Salt

ice cream :)

Water? Dirt? Fingernails? Metals? Plastic?

Even sugars and oils are plant based, so I'm not sure what you're really asking. A healthy vegan should be eating lots of fruits & vegetables, grains, legumes, et cetera, all of which are plants.

Vegans are hardcore VEGETARIANS. That means nothing else. Unless you feel like eating tin foil as a snack.

Water is the only thing I can think of. Or ice......
