Is there animal renin in Philadelphia cream cheese?!
I made a cheesecake and my bestie is a vegetarian and we don't know if the cream cheese I used has animal renin in it. thanks :)

Is it the original cream cheese? Then it's vegetarian. Not for strict vegetarian, obviously, with the milk in it; but for a lacto-ovo vegetarian? It's safe.
contains:
nonfat milk and milkfat, cheese culture,whey protein concentrate, salt, stabilizers (xanthan and/or carob bean and/or guar gums)
Plus, no gelatin either! ;P
I consumed Philly sometimes before I dropped dairy in my diet ;D
