can you replace grains with legumes and dried beans?!

Question: Can you replace grains with legumes and dried beans?
I want to eat only vegetables, fruits, legumes, and dried beans, will this have enough nutrition for my body or will I be missing other nutrients besides B 12?

Answers:

just take a multivitamin and you should be fine, yes you can replace with legumes because it high in fiber and protein, but not enough to meet your daily60g protein requirement i highly suggest get a protein powder (soy or hemp if youre vegan, whey if youre just a vegetarian). you can never get too much vitamins, but remember there is no amount of exercise that can undo an unhealthy diet so youre on your way. good luck!

It depends on how much of them you eat. "Vegetables" covers a lot of territory. If you're going to live on potatoes, no, you won't get the nutrition you need. You need to eat a variety of vegetables.

You need about 2000 calories a day. Find an online calorie counter and track your diet. It will be tough getting 2000 calories on the diet you have planned out. But good luck....
