why is some one who eats fish but not other meats considerd a omnivoure ?? surley if they only eat fish it?!
Answers:
People are omnivores because their bodies have the abilities to digest nutrients from meats and non meats (veggies, fruits and wheats) many vegitarians are willing to eat fish instead of other meats because fish usually are not grown in a tank (like the way livestock are grown in horrible conditions) and are simply caught and sold instead of being raised in a small caged with it's genetics altered or on steriods to make them bigger/meatier.

The person is not a carnivore . the person is an omnivore . fish is a living creature. Maybe your an herbivore only if u don't eat any living creatures at all including fish . I think it's ok to say your vegetarian if u eat fish and no other meats ...what if u go out to eat with someone ? they might want to go to a hamburger joint , ...might as well say somthin in advance to let them know u don't want to eat barbecue or hamburgers .
Amounts to what? If you think it's wrong to kill cows and chickens, why is it wrong to kill fish?
But if you only eat fish and must have a label, try calling yourself a pescetarian. They only eat fish and seafood.
Hello there,
People who consume both plants and animals are omnivores. Since fish is an animal, it is considered a meat. Remember, any animal is considered meat.
According to the biological definition an omnivore is "an animal that feeds on both plants and animals to survive." This means vegetarians, pescetarians and meat heads are all omnivores.

Technically, fish is an animal and is therefore "meat".
That is why people who eat fish as well as veggies are omnivores.
