Soy yogurt may be a replacement for cottage cheese in some applications. As a salad dressing 1 oz salsa and 1 oz soy yogurt with a dibble of apple cider vinegar and flax seed oil is great.

You could try blending ground almonds with milk. (you can even add small cooked cauliflower chunks as when they are used in a dessert/sweet dish you cannot tell its that)

or

Vegan cheese crumbled and mixed with rice milk

have u heard of soya nuggets?when uncooked they are hard but when cooked they turn soft like cottage cheese!
