What did you vegetarians/vegans have for Thanksgiving?!
haha it was really good.
What did you have?
Answers:
I'm eating right now:)
Stuffing (cornbread kind, no animal flavoring), mashed potatoes, corn, broccoli casserole, and a dinner roll:) I'm going to gain like 10 pounds from this lol.
My family and I are watching Elf. :)
We tried a seitan loaf, but that didn't turn out so well . . . So we had mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce (the first time I ever tried it, it was great!), sauteed mushrooms, a vegetable tray, stuffing, green bean casserole, a cheese tray, candied yams, ham, and turkey (of course, the veg*ns only ate what fit our diets.) For dessert, there was cheesecake, pumpkin pie, coconut cream pie, coconut milk chocolate ice cream, coconut milk whipped cream, and gluten-free chocolate cake (the last three items were vegan.) We also had two kinds of wine. Normally we'd have sparkling juice for those of us that don't drink, but this year we went shopping too late to get any.
I skipped the tofurkey this year. We had roasted vegetables, cranberry sauce and vegan versions of green bean casserole, stuffing and pumpkin pie.
I didn't eat anything special for Thanksgiving. I'm not American.
But on that day, I did eat well.
I had stir fry for dinner. And I made vegan cupcakes :)
My biology teacher is also vegan and she too had a tofurky!
I'm not vegetarian so I'll just have a regular turkey :)
