Maybe they can but they won't. Frogs don't eat dead or inanimate "food". Frogs hunt food by sight and inanimate objects do not show up on a frog's "radar" to be of interest. That's how most snakes ambush them: by being very still so that the frogs take no notice until they strike.
They're obligate carnivores -- they eat INSECTS.
