Vegans, what kind of cereal do you eat?!

I make my own raw sprouted buckwheat cereal sweetened with a bit of agave that I have with fruits or berries and with either raw sprouted almond milk or soy milk.
I don't often have any sort of cereal. Toast is my heroin in the mornings, as (for whatever reason, I still don't know) I find it difficult to eat in the morning, and toast is the only thing that goes down easy.
However, when I DO have anything cereal-ish, I go for muesli. I buy plain muesli in a bag which consists of rolled oats and sultanas, then I mix other things in. Quinoa flakes, puffed amaranth, chopped nuts and dried fruit to name a few possibilities. Occasionally I sprinkle it with sugar to avoid it being so bland tasting. I tried it the other day with almond milk and chopped banana and it was pretty good!
I think buying bagged ingredients and then mixing your own cereal together is good, because then you can be sure it's healthy with no added sugar, and you can use ingredients you know you'll like and then play around to see what concoctions you can come up with. :)
If I'm not making my own homemade cereal I'll usually opt for Kashi Cinnamon Harvest or a Nature's path cereal. You can make any basic whole grain cereal tasty by adding blueberries to it or your fruit of choice.
I used to mix granola with dry oats to eat less sugar. Eventually I learned to like dry oats plain.
but the reason grain doesn't taste great to us without sugar is because humans are frugivores (fruit eaters).
Barbara's Puffins Cereal. They have several vegan cereals. And the rest are vegetarian.
vegan :D
Whetabix or shredded wheat (please note, this is not the same as "Shredded Wheaties" or whatever's in the typical cereal aisle). On cold days I'll do oatmeal.
oooh! my favorite cereal ever is Kashi Go Lean Crisp Toasted Berry Crumble cereal :D
So good(: haha
