Because your answer has already been given some great replies by a couple people, I'm going to direct this at Harley Drive:

You are spamming the boards by adding this nonsense here. If you're not going to provide educated, thoughtful replies, then I suggest you'd be better to fool around somewhere else.

There are good things about being a vegetarian: We know that those who eat meat more than once a week do so at risk of their health, and even pro-meat advocates acknowledge this fact. Pescatarians and lacto-ovo vegetarians are seen to live the longest. There are also a lot of concerns about animal welfare and environmental problems associated with our current agricultural standards. You alleviate these problems by becoming a vegetarian, or simply reducing the amount of meat you eat and monitoring where you get your meat from. Being a vegetarian can also be a fun and creative lifestyle.

Vegetarian diets are proven to be life-sustaining for all ages, in particular lacto-ovo diets. You will not die from abstinence from meat. Vitamins are found in the most abundance in fruits and vegetables, so I don't know why you think you would be deficient by eating more of these foods and less meat. Sufficient iron can be obtained by eating iron-rich plant foods like beans and whole grains. You can also boost your intake by the use of multivitamins or cooking acidic foods like tomatoes in iron-based cookware. There are amino acids in vegetarian foods as well.

Any concerns should be taken to a nutritionist or doctor, and should not be answered by someone over the Internet who has no credentials to make such claims.

A vegetarian diet will not inhibit growth. However, eating overally processed foods, and too many simple sugars and carbs, and not eating enough of the correct foods will put you at risk of malnutrition.

That can be avoided by making healthy choices and gaining knowledge in health and nutrition matters.

Best of luck.

EDIT: Zaccharia, there is obviously protein in plant foods, as well as dairy and eggs. If she eats healthily, there is no reason to suspect she would become deficient in protein. You don't actually need the amount of protein that meat gives: If I were to eat one cup of chicken, I would already have consumed about double of the amount of protein my body needs for that day, and that's not including everything else I eat for the day.

Stop spamming the boards.

very healthy, now you could do what I do, be a semi pro vegitarian, I don't eat beef except once in a while like a treat, I never make a point to bring it into the house, also I only buy chicken, vegetables are the main event with a side of chicken or turkey. but being a vegetarian very healthy and very easy in this society today

pros = none
cons = lack of nutrition , lack of vitamins, lack of amino acids , lack of minerals, lack of iron etc
unfortunately meat is the ONLY whole food for humans, while I admire your intention you could harm your health seriously if you are still growing( see the other answer)

CONS: NO PROTEIN

My sister is short and weak now that she is a vegetarian. Being a vegetarian will seriously mess up your life!

You need to get more protein, so having to plan your meals more carefully is something to expect. The pro's outweigh the con's by a million(:

A vegetarian diet can sometimes be healthier.

It can be healthier but you need to make sure you get the proteins that your body needs.
