Would this be good today (after pigging out Thanksgiving?)?!

Question: Would this be good today (after pigging out Thanksgiving?)?
Breakfast: oatmeal, large banana
snack: handful of grapes
lunch: large salad(lettuce, broccoli, squash, cauliflower, cucumber, carrots, olives, 3 eggwhites, 15 calories of italian dressing)
snack: fruit salad (strawberries, blueberries, grapes)
dinner: 1/2 cup brown rice, smaller version of lunch salad with 3 egg whites.

Is this healthy? Is it too much to lose weight? What should I cut out?

?Sounds Wholesome?

That sounds really healthy, loads of fruit and veg to fill you up and give you nutrients. Without knowing things like your metabolism, lifestyle etc it's difficult to say whether it's too much to lose weight, but I'd say no it's definitely not! The food you've listed is hardly fattening, and with all that fibre you'll feel full long before you've eaten too much. I really don't think you need to worry!

You will not gain weight from one day of overeating. You may get a little bloated, and maybe have some indigestion, but you won't gain weight. If you really feel the need to compensate, go for a brisk walk or jump rope for half an hour, but please don't attempt to restrict your diet. It just isn't healthy.

That's fine, but how do you intend to use 15 calories of italian dressing for a "large" salad? I have a bottle and it says 80 calories per 2 tablespoons, so you intend to use about a teaspoon of dressing?

WEll i eat just about the same amount of that in a day too... and i dont gain any weight whatsoever... im a girl, only 14 yrs 5ft 3 and i weigh about 110... but thats probs cuz i have high metabolism... but anyways, you can still eat all that stuff but just try having it in smaller portions...

It may be a little light on protein but fine for one day. Otherwise very healthy, but consider alternate sources of protein like beans and whole grains. I would not try to eat that light every day-it's better to increase activity than restrict calories.

Just return to your normal diet. Overdoing it one day isn't going to make you gain weigh or derail your diet. I promise. :-)
