No.

As long as they keep advertising "all beef" or use specifics (chicken sandwich etc) when describing their food , they can't even if they wanted to. Not unless they want to pay a huge fine or settle a large lawsuit. And it won't make sense since even in places where it is legal and culturally acceptable to use, horse meat is more expensive than beef or chicken. So "cheating" and "sneaking" it into the mix means raising costs without actually raising profits. McDonald's did not become a food giant by being stupid.

Well, the cannibalistic cows in the factory farms are fed meat from all kinds of animals... euthanized dogs and cats, and agricultural animals such as pigs and other cows. As a side note, cannibalism is what causes mad cow disease. I'm sure a few horses end up into the mix at the "rendering plant".

So the cows that went into a Big Mac ate horses, but there isn't any horse meat in a Big Mac. If you consider this to count as eating horses, then Big macs contain horse meat..otherwise they do not.

What is a "rendering plant" ?

For those who say its illegal to eat horse meat in the US , well, you are wrong. in fact the USDA promotes eating of horse meat as well as goat. Its leaner, and healthier than either pork or beef.

Not in America (it's illegal)
but it's possible in other countries that horse-meat is legal; unlikely, but possible.

Not in the US. They might in other countries, where horse meat is common cuisine, but I doubt that an American-based corporation would be comfortable with something so taboo.

Yes. Their limited edition 'stallion burgers' weren't very successful, though.

Look again folk, says on the box 100% beef tm
thats a trademark not a description, could be goat or horse?

Does it really matter? If you are going to eat meat why is one okay and another not? Either you eat meat or you don't

They use troll meat, so you should keep clear of McDonalds or you might end up on the menu.

Hello

You never know if its used to make the beef last longer do you really

I actually don't know, but they shoot their pigs. SHOOT them!!! Is that reason enough to avoid them?
