just eat everything you do now, cut out the meat.. if your going vegan that would be harder!

The following are things every human must include in their daily diet in order to have a healthy functioning body. I’ve included examples but of course there are others you can add to the list.

Iron: whole wheat and whole grains, leafy greens, beans
Calcium: OJ, milk, broccoli, strawberries, pineapples
Vitamin D: milk, eggs, supplements
B12: eggs, dairy, supplements
Vitamin A/beta carotene: pumpkin, carrots, apricots, mango, leafy greens
Vitamin C: OJ
Iodine: ? tsp of salt per day

Remember to include foods with a little bit of everything in them each day (you must combine multiple amino acids together in a day in order for you body to build protein). A normal meal plan for me includes: bean and rice burrito in whole wheat tortilla, cheerios, and banana w/ peanut butter. Make sure to eat plenty of iron so you don’t become anemic (causes fatigue). Vitamin C helps your body absorb iron while dairy products decrease iron absorption. So limit dairy consumption. Vegetarians can enjoy incredibly tasty foods and splurge on bad meals here and there. Just be careful to follow these basic guidelines as much as you can. Enjoy your new lifestyle!!

Vegetarian...trial and error

Tips? You just give up meat and eat a well-rounded diet. It's not rocket science.
