Is this a phase? Or something more?!

Probably not a phase. More likely since you felt sick after visualizing the animal, it's your conscience speaking to you.
I am not saying you should become vegetarian or vegan, but I think it's worth it for you to look into it. A good site with lots of great information for you is:

And two that deal with the health issues and sites run by doctors:

Some great meat substitutes, if you are interested. I think you will be surprised at the variety - and the wonderful flavor!

Good luck
Don't know where you live and what kind of hygiene/sanitation standards in you have in your area so it could be either you talked yourself into getting sick or there was really a pathogen in the food. But unless you were eating just the pork chops, it could have come from somewhere else too or from something you ate way before. Or may not even be from food at all but some other illness that just manifested it's symptoms coincidentally with your eating of the chops etc.
If it bothers you that much or happens again, consult a physician.
The stomach pain could be a phase due to illness of some sort, food contamination, over-consumption of something in the meat, or fasting before eating. It could be feeling emotional disgust to the point of feeling sick, maybe mixed with one of the latter.
The pain is likely to be a small phase, but you could choose to become a vegetarian. Whether or not the choice is a phase would be up to you.
Have you tried google?

Your appetite and taste for foods can change as you get older. For example, I used to absolutely HATE strawberries, and now they're pretty good. My appetite for meat also changed very quickly when I discovered where it truly came from and how it's processed.
I'm guessing that this isn't a phase. If you want, try going vegetarian. :)
If it's making you sick because you see a dead animal that you're eating, it's possible that you want to become a vegetarian. I don't think it's a phase though. You've probably just stopped liking meat. Your tastebuds change every seven years, if that means anything.
Hello
It sounds as though its your spirit asking you to make some changes in the way you are eating.
No, it's not dumb and most people give up meat for this reason.
