Soft foods I could have for dinner that are vegetarian?!

Question: Soft foods I could have for dinner that are vegetarian?
I have a really sore jaw, TMJ I think the orthodontist called it. Chewy or hard foods hurt to eat.

I'm getting kinda hungry, I haven't eaten anything except juice all day. What soft foods are there that are vegetarian (I'm vegetarian... :P)

Mashed potato, soup

Whatever you do, don't eat Jello, it's made from animals. Go with mashed potatoes, rice, overcooked pasta, re-fried beans, lentils, plantain, and any other soft, mushy stuff you can think off.

Stay away from ice cream. It comes from a female bovine. It's an animal product. Pudding is another no-no as it contains milk solids, milk from a bovine.

And eggs, no way. They come from birds. Even a vegan bodybuilder and trainer wouldn't eat them... that is if they are really a vegan.

Don't let honey and cheese touch your lips either. Soft foods, but animals have suffered so you could eat this. Think of all the poor little bees who have been smoked by their keeper, really en-slaver, and then had their food stolen from them. You should want no part of that. Same goes for the cheese.

Beans
Tofu
Soups with noodles, tofu and/or beans
Lentil soup
Rice soup
Bananas
Eggs
Nut butters
Sandwiches
Mashed potatoes
Baked potatoes
Potato soup
Curry
Chili
Salads without nuts
Oranges
Cherries
Berries
Strawberries
Soft breads + hummus
Softer veggies (like cucumber) with hummus or other dip, like bean dip or guacamole
Any kind of smoothie
Steamed buns with filling
Potstickers
Stir fry
Pasta dishes

Uh, the list goes on. Pretty much anything except gum, nuts and seeds.

vegan bodybuilder and personal trainer (and I have TMJ as well)

Same thing happened to me. I know it really sucks.

When my jaw wanted to be a douche I stuck to eating soft foods like mashed potatoes, pudding, and apple sauce. Yogurt and smoothies are also very good for nutrients. Assuming you were in as much pain as I was, it is hard for you to brush your teeth, yes? You should lay off all the sugar from fruit juices. They will only help rot your teeth faster. Once your jaw stops being such a dick, you should try incorporating solid foods. Soups and pasta are good once you can open your mouth for a spoon (it was really hard for me to even do that). Spinach, lettuce, etc. are also good sources of vitamins and nutrients.

I couldn't open my mouth any more than a centimeter for the first half of 2009. I know how you feel.

Boiled, steamed, mashed, or pureed veggies, baked fruit (not dinner, but it can be filling), soup, hot cereal, and you could always just have pudding or ice cream and use your jaw as an excuse to pig out. :)

ice cream
mashed potatoes and gravy
choc/vanilla pudding
cup cakes
soups
milkshake
butter
tapioca puddding
jello
lobster mac'n'cheese
carnation instant breakfast shakes
oatmeal.
the end.

Spaghetti, yogurt, soup, PB&J (smooth, not crunchy), grilled cheese.

mashed potatoes, rice is small enough to eat without chewing. Oatmeal was my go to food when I had my tonsils out.

Soups are good. Also, any pureed vegetable or bean.
