Could you keep your body warm in the winter by being a vegan?!

Hello
Off course you can, ask the same question to a horse, giraffe, elephant.
Actually, eating vegetables keeps a body warmer than by eating meat and dairy. The act of digesting fiber warms up the body, and since veggies have lots of fiber, it warms out bodies from the inside out. Meat has no fiber, so it only makes your system sluggish and you will feel colder.
Here is a really nice vegan tortilla soup recipe for you that will keep you warm for many hours:

I can't tell if you're actually serious or just being an annoying, idiotic troll.
Regardless, veganism does not reduce your ability to stay warm. I live in upstate NY where winter is pretty much from late October to early April and it gets damn cold. Unless it's like a blizzard out, all I wear is a vest (with poly filling, not down) over my regular winter clothes and some snow boots, scarf, mittens, occasionally a hat or ear muffs...sometimes I'll throw a hoodie on under my vest if it's colder. I usually walk about 40 minutes (longer if I have to trudge through snow) to get to/from work & have no problem staying warm. I actually get sweaty sometimes & unzip or take off my vest.
If vegans couldn't cope with the cold, then we would hibernate indoors all winter, shivering under our acrylic-wool blankets, eating our lentil soup, praying for Spring.
Seeing as most of us have lifes, school/jobs, this is obviously not the case. We do what anyone else does when its cold - put on some more clothes before we go outside.
Every single winter all of us vegans sit in our homes bundled up in blankets and sweaters just to have some warmth. Those cold months are so hard on us, sometimes we wonder if we'll make it to the spring.
Jeez why is the world filled with idiots?
vegan :D
What? How where you thinking there?
Please explain your logic. Well I do freeze in the winter but that has nothing to do with me being a vegan. I always been like this.
Being a vegan
Get a coat. We are not animals. We don't need to bulk up in the winter to stay warm. My husband has been vegan for years and he doesn't get extra cold in the winter.
I survive Canadian Winters by dressing appropriately for the cold. What you eat doesn't effect your ability to stay warm.
We put more layers on before we go outside just like meat-eaters. There isn't a pattern between being vegan and feeling colder.
all humans need same thing to be warm! central heating or a fire place or something and warm clothes!!! thats such stupid question!!!!!!! unless you eat no food then it wont be a problem
Being vegan has nothing to do with being cold in the winter.
