What are the benefits of v8?!

Question: What are the benefits of v8?
I just got used/loving the taste of v8. My friend then told me it was a drink suplement meaning its made to quench hunger when you cant eat a meal. Is this true?
also what are the benefits of drinking v8 as in is it better, equal, or worse then eating vegetables? What good does it do to your body?

Sodium is a huge downside with commercial juices however v8 has a low sodium version - 80mg per serving (one 5.5 fl oz can). While these *supplements* are pretty useless overall, they are fine occasionally when you have no other options for the day in terms of produce, or are just feeling generally depleted. But they are *supplements* & not meal replacements...& they certainly do not (cannot) replace live, raw fruits & veggies! The way I see it, if you miss a day of produce here & there you can easily replenish your body in just a couple of meals & snacks so there's really no need for vegetable/fruit juices anyway.

V-8 is 80% tomato and 20% other vegetables juices. They have been heated so are not as nutritious as raw juice you would make yourself. The worst thing is the sodium content - one serving has 600 mg. sodium which is 1/3 your recommended daily allowance of sodium!

So while V-8 is better for you than other things you could drink (soda, for example) it is something better to consume only occasionally.

There is a low-sodium version you can try. I don't care for it - it taste very bland.

well if you dont like eating veggies all that much then its good to have a v8 to boost up your veggie diet
although it does taste quite gross to some people so if it taste gross to you then i suggest just have more veggies

and yes it is true it can make you full or sick to the stomach

No benefit from drinking them you are just loading your body with sodium and harming your kidney, heart and blood circulation.
Eat fresh vegetables, don't rely on those fancy cans
