Kroger (Private Selection) makes a great vegan tomato basil pasta sauce. It's organic, too.

You can buy vegan pasta sauces at just about any supermarket. The vegan-ness of the product depends on the specific ingredients used in the specific flavours, so just go to where the pasta sauces are, pick one you might like, and read the ingredients to see if there are animal products in it. Unlike with a lot of other products, you don't have to rely on a brand specifically being vegan, as so many pasta sauces are "accidentally" vegan. :)

Just about any brand is going to have at least a couple varieties that are vegan. I usually make my own pasta sauce, so I rarely buy it, but as far as store bought sauce, I think Francesco Rinaldi is one of the better ones. It's thicker & doesn't get watery like some do. Barilla & Newman's Own aren't too bad either. Definitely stay away from Ragu, Prego, etc. They're pretty terrible. As far as flavor, I usually go for ones with extra basil and/or garlic.

it is my understanding that any pasta sauce that does not include cheese would be vegan.
You would have to read labels.
The other alternative it to make your own.
A simple pasta sauce is just tomato paste and seasonings.
When I first started cooking, I used this one often and as I became more adept, I played with the seasonings. It is very simple to do and just skip the bullion cube and parmesan cheese and it is vegan. I got it off a can of Hunts tomato paste.

Hunt’s 20 Minute Spaghetti Sauce
Ingredients
2 - 6ox cans Hunt’s tomato paste
3 cups water
2 Tablesp dry minced onion
1 Tablesp grated Parmesan cheese
1 Tablesp sugar
1/2 teasp basil
1/2 teasp oregano
1/2 teasp salt
1/2 teasp garlic powder
1/8 teasp pepper
1 beef bouillon cube
1 lb spaghetti, chooked and drained
grated parmesan cheese

Preparation
Combine all ingredients except spaghetti and Parmesan in heavy 2-quart saucepan.
Cover, simmer 20 minutes.
Stir occasionally.
Serve over hot cooked spaghetti.
Sprinkle generously with Parmesan.
Makes 4-6 servings

Variation Suggstions:
Add 1/4 cup dry red wine
Add 1/2 cup sliced sauteed mushrooms
Add 1/2 lb Italian sausage or ground beef
Add 1 green pepper!

In addition to the answer above, you can also make your own pesto, but with no cheese. Maybe a little tofu to make it creamier.
I make my pesto with Arucula & Pine nuts (or walnuts, if I only find pine nuts from china. They leave a super bitter aftertaste for a week!), some olive oil, garlic and a spoonful of tofu

ENjoy!
