Hello

Vegetarians - Eat no meat, but do eat milk, cream, cheese, yoghurt etc.
Vegans - Eat no meat or anything product that came from an animal that has a face.
Meat Eaters - Eat meat, including chicken and turkey, some eat dairy products and others do not.

It depends on why you stopped eating meat.

If you stopped only because meat requires killing an animal, then drinking milk is OK, since the animal isn't killed to get milk.

But if you stopped because you just don't want to eat anything that comes from an animal, then obviously you can't drink milk, since it comes from an animal.

Finally, if you stopped for health reasons, then it depends on what kind of milk you drink, and how much - low fat milk is healthier than full fat milk, organic milk is healthier than non-organic, but they all have calories, so less is better if you want to control your calorie intake.

I don't eat red meat or consume dairy for health reasons. If you're concerned about your health I would avoid dairy since it's high in fat. Though after 5 years of not consuming dairy, I have developed an allergy/lactose intolerance to it now, so I get violently ill if I consume any accidentally.

It's INCREDIBLY easy to substitute dairy these days, there's soy, rice, almond, hemp, and so many other "milks" out there. There's dairy-free ice cream, cheese, yogurt, and almost anything else you can imagine. It's all way healthier for you than dairy is.

Dairy-free for 5+ years

You can still have milk, eggs, and dairy products, if you like. Some vegetarians allow themselves dairy products, and others allow themselves fish.

Some of your vitamins and minerals are found (in large part) in animal products. It's harder to get them in plant-based foods, but there are ways. The vitamins and minerals you need to watch: protein, iron, zinc, iodine, essential fatty acids, vitamins B12 and D, calcium, and the essential fatty acids.

that's a tough one. humans are apparently the only mammals that drink milk after they reach adulthood, and many people leave dairy out of their diets entirely. i've been told that you get much more calcium and vitamin d from spinach or kale than you do from milk. also, with the standards of treating cows used for milking, you risk consuming steroids and other things that the cow has ingested to maximize it's milk production, and drinking milk from an animal that likely lives in unsavory conditions. so it seems like it's best to cut out the dairy, for health and nutritional reasons, but of course that's very hard to do.

I'd rather eat beef than drink milk. Milk is what i can't stomach. Trust me, your bones and muscles will be fine without dairy in your diet. Why would you give up beef, but still eat dairy? Beef comes from cows, you know that right? And milk comes from cows. You can make cheese, yogurt, ice cream, butter without dairy. They say non-dairy on the front. You need some elementary English classes, by the way.

So why do you hate turkeys and chickens?

One dead cow produces about 400 lbs of boneless beef. At 1/4 lb per serving, it will feed a lot of people. One dead chicken, however, produces about three pounds of boneless meat. If you give up "cow" and only eat chicken, you'll be responsible for a lot more deaths. Think about it....

Continue drinking milk if you want, it's not meat. Maybe you should go vegetarian, just cut out the chicken and turkey over time and you'll be good. :)

I am a vegan.

Good job :) pig is bad for you and so is beef no dairy is what you need to have milk is okay to drink you don't have to stop drinking it unless you want to stop haveing fairy items :D

Technically no since milk is not meat. If you're becoming vegetarian you can consume animal products as long as its not meat.

Try almond milk.
