Anything that is a protein that can be absorbed easily.

Vegetarians don't have any restrictions on eating eggs. Lacto-vegetarians do not eat meat or eggs. Vegans do not eat dairy, eggs, meat, or anything that came from an animal.

Eggs are high in protein, iron, and vitamins A, B, and D.
Spinach, Kale, Carrots, and Broccoli are all good sources of vitamin A.
Vitamin B should be supplemented, or can be found fortified in some foods. It is also fortified in nutritional yeast.
Mushrooms are the only vegan source of Vitamin D, as well as the sun, and supplements.
Iron can be found in cereals, lentils, beans, tofu, dark green leafy vegetables, chickpeas, and supplements.
Protein is very rich in dark leafy green vegetables, beans, tofu, lentils, chickpeas, whole grains, nuts, and supplemented protein shakes (make sure it doesn't have dairy if he is vegan!).

Also, if he is vegan then refer to this guide for egg replacements. Ener-G is great, but the list provides a lot of other possibilities.

Vegan.

anything that has vitamen A, D and E because that's all in eggs and i'm guessing that's why dr. doc told him to eat eggs, because vitamin A is for growth and developement (including healing things such as ligaments and pretty much any other injury), vitamen D is for absorbing minerals which makes it good for bone health and Vitamen E is good against cancer and heart diseases

vegetarians eat eggs.. vegans don't eat eggs? Well okay some do.

Anyway, eat anything else with protein as eggs contain alot of it, or he could just eat organic eggs..

If he's the type of vego who cares about the animals.

vegetarians are not restricted from eating eggs. If he has ethical issues (factory hens are treated brutally), cruelty free eggs are widely available now, though pricey.

Ener-G Egg Replacer
Tofu

There is a cereal now that provides the same amount of protein as an egg.
