Actually you can!

Most people chose not to because it has a slightly odd texture and sharp taste, but it's perfectly edible and is actually higher in fibre than the rest of the fruit.

I grew up eating the skin, and used to get a lot of strange looks, but it still took me a while to realize that not everyone eats that part! It's good for you though so I still do it.

I can just picture all the nervous-looking New Zealanders after this question...

However, I assume the asker doesn't really mean New Zealanders, nor flightless birds with nostrils on the ends of their beaks. You *are* talking about kiwiFRUIT, right?

I didn't use to eat the skin of kiwifruit, but after finding out a couple of months ago that it was edible, I started to. I usually rub it a bit first to get rid of some of the stubble. The texture is a bit like paper, but it's definitely edible.

YES you can. The skin is where a lot of the nutrition is.

"The kiwifruit skin is edible and contains high amounts of dietary fiber. "

I do that all the time. They're too tart if you peel off the skin.

To avoid the pesticides LadyDeeMay82 mentioned, eat organic kiwi fruit.

Yes you can... its acturally the best part of the fruit because it contains alot of nutrients.

although its not the tastiest the skin is the healthiest part of the kiwi

Hello

Yes you can, but in my opinion it is not that nice.

It is highly unrecommended. I read it somewhere when I was looking up the benefits of eating Kiwi. There is possibly pesticides and whatever else on them(the skin is very absorbent!). Be safe and peel your Kiwi;)

Probably. You can eat the skin of a chicken, so why not eat the skin of a kiwi? Both birds.

No ,it’s gonna scrach ur throat + unpleasable taste .

LMAO ^

He means the fruit LOL ..

And I'm not sure, I wouldn't.
