Vegetarians/Vegans....good meals for beginners?!

Question: Vegetarians/Vegans....good meals for beginners?
Well today i just started wanting to go vegetarian, (and im not becoming vegetarian just to label myself a vegetarian), i want to eat healthier and be healthier.

i get the whole thing about eating only vegetables but im not quite ready to fully just give up on meat. i wanna gradually go into it, plus i wanna know some really tasty recipes that will keep me from not giving up on this. Any websites u think are personally good if you can give some links would be very helpful.
-Thank You-
Mik

Hey,

I went Vegetarian Thursday last week. I've never tried Tofurky before. But I do have a few resources for you. I'm only 20 but I never really liked meat myself. I suggest you pick out a few Vegetarian or Vegan Cookbooks from your local library.

http://www.vegweb.com/ ~This site is full of recipes that are Vegan and Vegetarian. I'm positive you'll love this site!

http://www.amazon.com/Vegan-Cupcakes-Tak… ~If you love Cupcakes, you'll love this book. The Cupcakes are Vegan, made with no animal products, but Vegan Butter called Earth Balance and other things. You would never know that they are Vegan!

~Same with the Cookies

And finally, my favorite...

~With this site, you can request a Free Vegetarian Starter Kit. And trust me, this Starter Kit is by fay the best in my opinion! The MDs themselves are Vegetarian/Vegan.

Hope I helped!

Well even though people say that vegetarians only eat vegetables, that is definitely wrong. Vegetarians eat protein like eggs, nuts, beans, and soy based products (tofu, etc.) in substitute for meat.
I don't know any recipes or links, sorry :(
There's this really good store in Maryland called Potomac Adventist that sells really tasty soy-based meat. There's also Whole Foods and Trader Joe's if you want some organic food. :)
Hope this helps, and I encourage to be vegetarian! :D

hey ok.
2 freerange scrambled eggs in soyfree earth balance.
smartwater, guayaki raspberry, 2 kiwi, cup natures path rice puffs, 8oz pacific hazelnut, half loaf panera tomato basil.
so 1000cals daily.
vegan except eggs.
lunch is the 2 kiwi.
replace eggs w tofu satsun only.

Don't be vegan. Animals are here for us to use. Don't listen to these hippies.
