Veggie burgers are usually made of TVP (textured vegetable protein, made of de-fatted soy flour) and ground vegetables. Some also have eggs, and most are extremely high in sodium. To be honest, I prefer grilled portabello mushroom caps or homemade black bean burgers.

Most commercial "veggie burgers" are made with soy and/or corn. However most soy and corn (up to 80%) are GMO soy and corn. Plus the veggie burger companies are often owned by the same meat and companies that militant vegetarians/vegans like to protest

My restaurant does not use soy and corn in our "veggie burgers" (nor do we use pre-made ones). We make ours from nuts. mushrooms and root vegetables and depending on the customer's preference and request may or may not contain eggs.

WIKIPEDIA SAYS:
A veggie burger is a hamburger-style patty that does not contain meat. The patty of a veggie burger may be made, for example, from vegetables, textured vegetable protein (soy meat), legumes, nuts, dairy products, mushrooms, wheat, or eggs.

and...

Non-meat burgers are sold in supermarkets worldwide and these products are often semi-prepared with a minimum effort to cook.

So my guess is its vegetarian :)

Vegi burgers are made of vegi's, that is why they call them vegi burgers. It is one of those funny things you vegetarians do is eat meat substitute, called things like tofurky, vegi burger, etc....

No, they're made of grains and stuff, and flavor. They don't taste like normal burgers, but are okay nonetheless.

Hello

They do not have meat, they may have fake soy meat or other types of fake meat in them.

no meat in them, my favorite ones are boca burgers, if you put a lot of stuff on them (ketchup, lettuce, etc.) they taste just like burgers
