Is it more efficient for people to eat plant products or animal products?!

Question: Is it more efficient for people to eat plant products or animal products?
Im having trouble finding a solid answer. If the producers contain more energy, why don't we just eat them instead?

Pound for pound, animal foods have higher calories than plant foods. Vegan and vegetarian fanatics like contradicting themselves. these are the same people that say meat causes obesity. Obesity can be caused by consuming high calorie foods excessively without doing the activity necessary to burn the calories off.
Why do you think the herbivores spend almost all day eating? Because the plant foods are generally low energy/calorie foods and they have to constantly eat in order to survive. Most carnivores have to eat only once every few days. Snakes and alligators, cold blooded carnivores fare even better needing to eat only every few weeks sometimes months. The best diet for humans? The diet that has always been the predominant diet that has allowed humans to progress into the dominant species that it is today, the Omnivore diet.

The fastest animals are not herbivores: the fastest land animal is the cheetah, a carnivore. The fastest bird is the spine tailed swift which is a carnivore. A diving peregrine falcon can reach 200mph is also a carnivore. the fastest swimming fish is either the barracuda or the sailfish which are both carnivores. An omnivore Grizzly bear can outrun a horse. The ant, which is one of the strongest animals on earth able to carry up to 50 times it's own body weight is an omnivore. The most intelligent animal on earth, the human is also a biological and physiological omnivore. Some vegetarians just need to use their heads and think beyond the propaganda they read.

Plants are for more effecient to grow, cultivate, enviormentally friendly etc.

The problem is Meat IS a staple in human diet, its perfectly normal & as of yet many people still consume meat and will keep doing so in the future though this may become less frequent.
Then there is the fact some people dislike vegetables of certain kinds etc etc.

I'm not sure of the mathamatics or how the information was obtained so i wouldn't trust it but supposedly if the world all turned vegan tommorow that we could easily sustain 10+ billion people, naturally though theres alot of factors to take into account on such a quote

vegetarian

Friend,

The biggest Living Animal , the strongest too in the jungle IS A PURE VEGETARIAN.

The FASTEST RUNNING RABBIT AND DEER ARE VEGETARIANS.

THE RHINOS ARE VEGETARIANS.GIRAFFES ARE VEGETARIAN.

THE BULLS AND COWS THAT PLOUGH THE LAND ARE VEGETARIAN.

The vegetarian food is known to make brain sharp and improve memory power.

The flesh eating (Non veg) animals like Lion , Tiger , Cheetah etc like not the Flesh eating animals but hunt Deer, Rabbits, Goats,buffaloes..etc.

So decide yourself.

Eating plants is more efficient. By eating animals, you are eating both animals and plants, because it takes tons of grains to feed all the animals in American factory farms. Plus, raising animals for food destroys land, water, creates antibiotic resistance, i could go on and on.

vegan

Plants. Way more efficient. Not even comparable.

Hello

Plant products

From a global energy perspective, its far more efficient for us to eat plants. Why dont we eat plants? A lot of us do.

Plant products, hands down.

Humans beings were designed to eat a diet consisting of about 70% -80% plant based foods. Any nutritionist will tell you that. And, a healthy diet provides more than energy. Plant based foods provide nutrition that isn't found in meat.

Humans are omnivores..... so we need both plant and animal foods.

However, it is possible to eat a healthy, balanced vegan diet. A vegan diet can provide everything the human body needs.

Being an omnivore means we have a choice. We can choose not to eat meat.

Plants are much better. People still eat animal products because they either don't know or don't believe that an all plant diet is healthier... or because animals are so tasty =D.
