I decided to become a vegetarian a couple of years ago and it was much easier than I expected it to be. You just need to be more mindful of your diet than before and concentrate on getting a full array of nutrients.

Hello !

First congrats on wanting to become a vegetarian. It's a very healthy lifestyle and better for the planet.

Secondly, when becoming a vegetarian I can't stress this enough, TAKE YOUR TIME. You wan't to eliminate one thing at a time. Generally vegetarian don't eat (meat and eggs) some even go on to milk. I would cut out the meat first.
You should (if you want to take the slow way) take meat out one day a week, than build up to 2 than go to 4 and than go to a whole week. This way it gives your body a chance to process what exactly you are doing. I made the mistake of cutting EVERYTHING out in one day without a chance and once I even smelled it I was screaming for it (this is when I went vegan - I'm vegetarian now)

Depending on how much you like meat, I consider you definitely reading up on animal cruelty and how unhealthy meat is for you. Believe me once you read and watch videos about that you'll push your plate away.

Also another good thing to remember is when taking some thing out of your diet, be sure to replace it with something so you won't miss it. They have tons of tofu options that taste better than meat. You can buy Boca burgers from walmart, their really delicious and affordable. Be careful though not all meat alternatives are egg free so read the back of the box.

Now if you want to live a VEGETARIAN LIFE STYLE you should consider donating all your leather, wool, and fur items in your closet. But I think you should start out with your diet first and than move over to the rest of your life style.

Happy Holidays =)

Start by coming up with a vegetarian meal plan (decide what you are going to eat for a week). A rather useful shopping list can be found at: http://www.grocerylists.org/wp-content/u…
Recipes can be found all over the place, one good website is www.suprememastertv.com/veg

I was once told by a personal trainer at 24 hour fitness..."if you want to know if something is healthy for you to eat or not all you have to do is place it on top of a napkin and if after a few seconds it leaves a grease stain on the napkin DO NOT EAT IT".

Stop eating meat (obviously), and replace it with healthy, protein-rich foods like beans, lentils, soy, and nuts.

I Just dont eat meat you can take vitamins and eat nuts for the proteins. (: if you dont like beans
