If your local health food store doesn't carry those items (and most GROCERY stores do), you can order them online from a place like Vegan Essentials.

Good luck!

I don't live in the US but in many countries the supermarkets sell a limited range of these products and any health shop which I'm sure you will have somewhere. I've been a vegetarian for years and I do not eat soy products I find many of them bland and just do not like them. Once you become vegetarian it's a matter of searching for some good easy recipes some that one can make quickly is convenient and I often make some large portions of certain meals and freeze about 4 meals and eat one from the dish i make. One of them is a lasagna dish that freezes well and I do about 4 layers two layers is a tomato base that i have added mushrooms onions etc to and I don't know if you will eat cheese but the other two layers are a spinach and cottage cheese layer topped with a cheese sauce. I make peanut mince which is delicious which i grate carrot chopped onion mushroom and cerlery and saute in oil or butter then add crushed peanuts water and milk cook for several minutes then add what ever I feel like such as some curry powder salt and pepper parsley chopped capsicum and thicken with a couple of tablespoons of porridge oats . This mixture can be used in a variety of ways It can be topped with mash potato and browned under the grill like a cottage or shepherds pie I can add cooked rice and fry as patties. I make a nice vegetable soup with chilli and noodles added and I love my salads .
