A girl that is a vegan is more of a turn on for me.

As long as she doesn't try to convince me to..... :

- not eat meat
- not hunt
- not fish
- not keep meat in the house
- not cook meat for myself or our guests
- not order meat when out at a restaurant with her

..... then I think nothing particularly special of her at all.

But if she does any of the above even once, I will immediately kick her to the curb without another word.

A vegetarian girl is neither a turn on nor a turn off. It is neither sexy nor unsexy. It is neither attractive nor unattractive. It is neither gross/weird or not.

Essentially, I really couldn't give two shits whether a girl is a vegetarian or not, only if she tries to change me and my lifestyle would I end (or refuse to consider) the relationship. But then, that would be because of her controlling behavior, not because she is vegetarian.

By the way, you must realize that you asked this question in the "Vegetarian & Vegan" section, so you are likely to find more positive feedback and support (from other vegetarians and vegans) than you might otherwise receive. For more unbiased and honest answers from a more general population, you might want to try asking this question in the "Singles & Dating" section.

I think its cute when a girl is excited about eating meat - especially like hot dogs and cheeseburgers; it makes them seem fun and laid back. But at the same time, the girl I like is a for real vegetarian and she inspired me to go veg a few months ago, which was something I've always kind of been interested in but just didn't take that seriously until I met her. As long as you don't come across as judgmental about what other people like, I doubt anyone will have a problem. Obviously guys (or anyone) won't like it if you act grossed out about or intolerant of what they eat.

In the past ive found that guys find it stupid/annoying, and tend to tease you. Guys usual go-to arguement as to why it is stupid is "just because you dont eat meat doesnt mean they are gonna stop killing animals".

Ive learned to just accept that its something many guys think is stupid, just like they think makeup and reality tv is stupid. It doesnt mean you cant have a relationship with someone because of it.

Well like the first answer, it really does depend on the guy because he could think differently on the way you look like if you're fat, firm, thick, skinny, etc. From my opinion, i think it's interesting not gross or weird just unique I suppose. Honestly, when I hear "Vegetarian" I think "Skinny Person," but maybe you're not. So I hope this answer works for you...take care. =]

My Thoughts

Honestly, being a vegetarian is not that big of a deal, if you want guys to think something of you or respect you become vegan milk and eggs are abusing the animals just as much, where do you think they go when they can't produce the milk and eggs anymore???

A lot of the guys I 'meat' are like, "Why would you give up meat? It tastes delicious!" or "I could never live with bacon!" or "What do you EAT? Carrots?" I ignore these dudes and will reserve my time and energy for more worthy veg guys.

I would have to know the vegetarian girl a little more in order to form an opinion of her. Unlike many veg*ns in this section, I don't judge someone solely on their diet.

I prefer them. It's a lot easier going out to eat and we'd have something in common. Of course, I can't say I like a girl because they're a vegetarian. There are other important factors as well.

Almost every vegetarian girl I've met is hot, definitely a turn on. My wife is a Vegan and she's a Goddess.

Depends on the guy, honestly.
It could be unique & intriguing, or it could be odd & annoying.

I think its good. I am a vegan so it means we have something in common.

the same if you ate meat

hhmm..depends on the person,i wouldnt mind to some extent,
