DO NOT DO IT, because there is no good reason to be a vegetarian, but there are many good reasons not to do it, e.g. humans are omnivores who need both meat and vegetables in their diets.

Becoming a vegetarian is a learning curve. You should realize and understand that human being's taste buds adopt themselves according to the food that we usually eat. If you'll try something different or something for the first time, the taste might certainly be rejected which is normal.

Step 1. So, the first step towards becoming a Vegetarian is to have enough patience to travel the path from being a non vegetarian to a complete vegetarian. Once you have committed to your goal of being a vegetarian, the following tips will help you achieve it:

Step 2. Become a gradual vegetarian and slowly reduce junk food out of your daily . Do it in steps so that you get time to adopt yourself to the style. Divide the non vegetarian food items into different groups and start by removing each group at a time out of your diet.

Step 3. Learn to say no. This will be difficult in the beginning when you still remember the taste and smell of your favorite non vegetarian food but with time you will develop the resistance. A good idea will be telling all your friends and family about your newly adopted eating habit, so that they don't force you to eat meat.

Step 4. Try a new vegetarian food item every time you go to a shop or restaurant . This is important because you are leaving your favorite diet and you will need something good to replace it. If you don't like a vegetarian product the first time you try it, don't lose patience. Try the same product but of a different brand. Tastes vary and so are your choices.

Step 5. Read about vegetarianism. Watch videos. Meet people who are vegetarians and talk to them, listen to their ideas. You should have something that should constantly motivate you to achieve your goal of being a vegetarian.

Step 6. Watch total calories - limit sweets and fats. Don't let your veggies swim in cream sauce or your fruits smother in sugary syrups.

Step 7. Plan your menu. Either:

* Simple--stick with basic fruits, vegetables, nuts, and whole grains. Three vegetable side dishes make a meal. Eat a large salad with shredded vegetables. Serve fresh fruit in a fancy dish for dessert.
* or Complicated--experiment with exotic items such as tempeh, tofu, wheat gluten, or seitan.

Step 8. Buy most of your groceries in the produce aisle. Visit the dairy aisle if you decide to consume cheese, milk, eggs, or yogurt.

Step 9. Serve a colorful plate:

* yellow corn
* green spinach salad with red tomatoes
* light brown whole grain bread
* red cherries
* orange oranges

Step 10. Find out if your community hosts a farmer's market.

* Farmer's markets create a fun shopping experience, almost carnival-like.
* You'll find the freshest produce available - probably just picked that day.
* Feel good about supporting your local economy.

Basically inform yourself from both vegetarian & medical websites of human nutrition (cross-check to eliminate biased results) and what is necessary as a vegetarian + pitfalls from being uninformed.
Naturally tell your parents about it, they may just think its a phase if so ask them to allow you this phase.
Vegetarian IS NOT dieting to lose weight, or eating fish as commonly thought by the general public its a lifestyle based around health/moral/enviormental factors & naturally though not necessary activism be it donating or participating in animal rights is a bonus (ie helping abandoned pets off the streets charities/raising awareness etc as i said its not necessary but better than just abstaining from meat)

Look into new foods, thats what vegetarianism causes you to do, look at new foods to create new meals & grow a wider apprecitaion for vegetables you'd never have tried before that.
Reading up on vitamin/mineral supplements is good too & by-products in other foods (eg jellies contain gelatin essentially animal fat/hooves etc from a dead animal)
Other than that just have the willpower & support via friends or internet.

Naturally i've made this sound easier than it may be but hopefully my answer was a good start to helping

vegetarian, remember vegetarians basically don't eat any living moving animal capable of feeling pain. Fish move are alive & feel pain

1. get a vegetarian cookbook. Youll get bored with salads, and going to restaurants and ordering "the chicken wrap but without the chicken". youre gonna want to learn how to make your own delish flavorful meals.

2. Have fake meats on hand in the freezer/fridge for when cravings set in. i just discovered the MOST DELISH bbq skewers. They are in a little white and green package in the refrigerated organic section of the grocery store. Slather with bbq sauce and you wont miss meat one bit. Veggie burgers and soy chicken nuggets are also must haves. (this being said.. fake meat should NOT be your only protein source. You should also be eating beans and nuts etc.)

This is easy. You just need to eat all the foods that you like most. Try everything based on vegetables to identify the most delicious ones. Learn to cook them yourself. Make sure you're eating diverse food to get all the nutrients you body needs to be healthy. That's all.

Experience

Make sure you take a supplement that includes vitamin B12. Vegetarians need this to make up for lack of meat, fish, poultry in their diet. You won't become enimic this way.

stuff as much chicken in your face as you can..

Don't do it don't do it

Good idea

Brown Rice Syrup. sweet like maple syrup but with about 60-75% less sugar.
