Is it unhealthy to eat raw oatmeal?!
Answers:
No it is not. Oatmeal, raw or cooked is good for you.
Oats are one of the few grains that you can eat raw. Generally they are cut or rolled. There is no real nutritional change from eating them cooked or raw. As for your digestive system they contain allot of cellulose, something you can not digest as a human. As such they are very good for your digestive as dietary fiber. In fact they are one of the best known sources for natural dietary fiber.
Interesting question. As I looked for answers to what others have done, one comment was it being so dry makes it more difficult to swallow. So, your suggestion of blending it with milk, honey, and peanut butter will help. These bodybuilders seem to know.

It all depends on what kind of oats you are eat? Natural or steel-cut('quick-oats'). there is no problem with eating raw/partly cooked 'natural' oats; but b/c 'quick' oats are mechanically cut they have a greater chance of expanding in your stomach or digestive track where as it would take the average person 3-7 days to 'cook' the regular/natural oats.
Nah I highly doubt it. It might take a little longer to digest, or make your tummy hurt a little at first, but I doubt its going to do any damage. I agree that Oatmeal is so bland.I always get the unhealthy kind (The kind in the packet with loaded sugar and crap) lol
no its still good for you, when I was younger i used to make it a trail mix with nuts, dried fruits, seeds, whatever I had on hand, and I'm still here, lol. Your idea sounds delicious. Wonder what it would taste like to omit the peanut butter and use fresh berries...mmmmm
