are muslims allowed to eat haribos?!

Question: Are muslims allowed to eat haribos?
it says that it has gelatine in it, which is something from a pig, but I've been eating it since I was a child, and my mum thinks its alright to eat it

Answers:

Gelatine can be pig or cow based.

In the case of Haribo, beef gelatine is used in their Turkey plant, so check the pack and see where it was made. All Gold Bears and Raspberries come from the factory in Turkey, others vary.

So you and your family are Muslim and your Mother tells you it is okay to eat a food which in your religion would be considered haram, yes? I would have thought by now you would know which foods were Halal.

Now why is something about your story not ringing true.
