What types of calcium and other food additives must vegans avoid?!

Question: What types of calcium and other food additives must vegans avoid?
I recently have gone vegan and i need to know what types of calcium and other food additives i need to avoid. I was looking at the ingredients list on a can of beans and noticed two kinds of calcium. I don't know if it comes from an animal or not. Also some juices have added calcium. What other additives should I avoid?

If you want to know whether a juice, cereal, etc. is fortified with animal or plant-based vitamins and minerals, your best bet is probably to contact the company and hope they give you a straight answer (and the truth). Calcium is naturally present in a lot of foods, including beans. Also, if a product (such as rice milk) is fortified, check to see if the product is actually certified vegan.
