How much should I weigh? Diet plan please?!

Question: How much should I weigh? Diet plan please?
I'm 15, 5'7'' and 123 pounds. I have 15% body fat and I play high entensity (Junior olympic) volleyball 12 hours a week (not including tournaments, my own conditioning), and I have a BMR of 1440.2
Am I overweight or fine, please give me a diet plan to follow and/or my ideal weight.
I'm a vegitarian.
I currently consume 1250 calories per day (I don't starve myself, I just never get hungry.)

You sound tiny already. Your only 15, i wouldn't worry about dieting, or trying to reach an ideal weight, doing so often leads to eating disorders, and then being overweight as an adult. Please don't start now, its a downward spiral.

It sounds like you get alot of excersize, so i wouldn't worry about adding more. You can eat alot, and should inoarder to refuel your body after thoes big workouts.

I'd say your at your ideal weight as long as it's naturally obtained, you could gain some if you wanted too. :D

Your not overweight, your underweight!!

Your amount of body fat sounds pretty minimal, but not so little that if you get sick you will die.

Good for you for being a veggie, be sure to take a multi-vitiman (check to make sure its vegetarian tho!) I'm a very healthy teen vegetarian, but i still need to take a multivitamin to get all the nutrients that i don't get from food.

thats very few calories for the amount of working out you do, even though your not hungary i'd force yourself to eat a bit more, thats not many calories. Speaking of calories don't count them, it'll only make you crazy. Btw; don't restrict yourself to consistently eat that many calories, if you want more food, eat it!!

Diet plan: eat a variety of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, legumes, nuts, seeds, and healthy fats.

Example day (this is what i ate today btw.)

B: 2 slices whole wheat toast, spread with organic peanut butter and organic blackberry jam, soymilk
S: tamari roasted almonds, apple, several peanut butter crackers
L: tofu, cucumbers, peppers, carrots, ect, quinoa
S: cucumbers, peppers, carrots, dipped in eggplant dip, toast spread with earth-balance, and pumpkin spread, handful of peanut butter granola, soymilk
D: casserole with lentils, tomatoes, onions, spices, polenta, and sweet potatoes
S: (maybe some green-tea soy icecream?)

this is what i ate, and similar to what i eat every day, with different types of food and such, eat similar to that , and you'll maintain your weight, and stay healthy. eat what your body's craving. Btw drink lots of water throughout the day.

good luck, and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

You are at a healthy weight, toward the low end, not even close to overweight. But you may become underweight if you don't start eating more. You are not consuming enough calories. With your high activity level and a BMR of 1440, you should be consuming about 2000-2400 calories per day, depending on how intense your exercise is. That may seem really difficult at first, but just gradually start consuming more calories each day and it shouldn't be too hard. Consuming calorie-dense foods like oils, nuts, and fruit juices should make it easier. Hope that helps :)

Relax. You're very thin. I'm 5'7" and weigh 130 pounds and am not even close to being overweight. I would recommend not to lose any weight.
You should be consuming more calories especially if you play sports. 1250 calories is very little - that's how many calories our bodies use just to lay around at home on lazy days. Without knowing your diet and what kind of food you eat, nobody can give you a proper meal plan.

you have a healthy weight but you should be eating more than 1250 calories especially as an athlete your gonna get really burned out if dont up the calorie intake
trust me i been there done that.
