picky eating solutions?!
I've been eating the same dinner for the last month, I'm so unoriginal and I just don't know what to do about it. Seriously everyday I've had rice and beans with a potato and broccoli. I'm very picky, I have no idea as to what else I can have. Many have suggested foods such as tofu, veggie burgers, tempeh but I can't get myself to try it,I don't like to try new things. Another thing is that besides dinner I don't eat a real meal. for lunch I'll have a banana or maybe another piece of fruit and for breakfast I usually eat raisins or something. I don't have time during the day.
Do you have any suggestions? what do you normally eat?
thanks in advance

Here's just a few meal ideas:
Breakfast(you really should eat breakfast, even if you don't feel like it. Train your body to be hungry in the morning. It boosts your metabolism and gives you energy):
- Cereal(I love Vector cereal. It's healthy, full of vitamins and energy, and is actually good)
- Yogurt with berries/bananas/your favorite fruit/granola(optional)
- Eggs, if you eat them. Some vegetarians do.
*that's basically the only breakfast things i'll eat haha*
Lunch:
-Wraps(easy to make, you can choose what you put in it so that you know you like what's inside)
- Sandwhich. I just eat buns with mustard, lettuce and cheese haha. Lots don't like mustard though, so you can put something else on or nothing.
- Salad
- Couscous
- Fruit salad
Dinner:
- Salad
- Veggie dogs or Veggie Burgers(just try them! i promise, they're good!)
- Rice with vegetables
- Pasta
I can't think right now haha. But you never know if you like things if you don't try them! So try them! You might be happily surprised (:
myself, a very picky vegetarian!
Make yourself a couscous salad. It's quick and easy. You can chop your favorite salad veggies while the couscous is soaking. A dash of lime juice, olive oil, salt, pepper, fresh herbs and maybe some feta or goat cheese and your salad is complete. Enjoy.
Personally, I love trying new recipes.
go online and check out some of the endlessly numerous vegetarian and vegan websites. You're bound to find some recipes you'll like.
Eat some fruit like apples, berries, and melon. You could have soft tacos for dinner with lettuce and ground beef or chicken and cheese...yummy. Make sure to get enough calcium... have some milk, if you don't like white, have chocolate, and yogurt is good too.
You should make a stir fry, with plenty of vegetables including broccoli, stir fry with rice is lovely.
I usually eat alot of humous, salads, chips, rice with soya sauce etc
