Should eating meat be criminalized?!
Answers:
No, wtf?!
1) Everyone needs meat, I don't care what they think. Meat has special vitamins and iron for all the blood loss that occurs in women (menstruation) so you must eat. No more vegans and vegetarians..
2) Meat is meat. It's food, why not eat it??
Eating it shouldn't be, but killing animals should. That would then reduce meat consumption and our world would be cleaner and people would be healthier. Let people eat what they want, but don't allow murdering animals just so you can have something that might taste good to you. Let people be scavengers if they so desire, but animals should not be killed by the hand of man.
that's heavy. it'd be a nice world but you know. i always thought that meat-eating thing should have never of started in the first place. and at a point, i couldn't understand why they keep this legal. like, i am the worst thing on earth if i kill a human and eat it and then get like 25 to life. but i could abuse and kill animals no problem... especially if it brings in cash. sick and twisted society i live in.
but criminalization is so final.
Of course not. Think about what you're saying.
Even if it did work, which it NEVER would, how would you even be able to prove someone was stashing meat or something? Also it would be a civil law if anything, not a criminal one. Do you have any idea how full the jails would get? What you're suggesting is complete and utter chaos.
No. Some people can't help but hunt for their food. Sometimes it's the only food source around. I'm grateful their are organizations/groups out there that can give these animals a life free of cruelty before they die. Humans would want the same if we were to suffer the same fate.
No. Eating meat should not be illegal. But factory farming and using growth hormones, pesticides, steroids, and antibiotics in animals should be. Animal testing too.
Vegan
No.
However, animals deserve better rights under our laws. What needs to be criminalized is the cruelty that goes into factory farming.
Nope, but I have no problem at all with banning CAFOs and requiring far stricter regulations for safety testing.
No. Choice is good.
Tighter regulations on animal welfare might be helpful though.
I do not think so, but most people in America should eat less meat for health reasons
That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
vegetarian
jees no, just how we treat the animals is the problem for me not that we eat meat
....no. i do think that laws should be enforced though.
