Any idea on how much money PETA spends actually helping animals?!

Question: Any idea on how much money PETA spends actually helping animals?
Doing things like building no-kill shelters, cleaning litter from the woods, pulling trash out of rivers, planting trees, maybe buying wetlands so animals can live in peace. Or whatever else you know of them doing to actually help animals, not paying celebrities for ads.

I'm looking for either a monetary amount or budget percentage.

It's all online. You can get the info. They're a non-profit organization and are required to disclose that type of information. Don't depend on people on Yahoo answers to give you false, biased estimates. Find out yourself...the information is out there on legitimate government websites.

I, personally, am in favor of ANY type of animal rights organization. PETA has come far as an organization and has achieved MANY tremendous things and has helped stop a lot of bad things from happening because of the bad publicity they give to people. PETA doesn't focus on building no-kill shelters and planting trees and whatnot. That's the Humane Society and ASPCA that does that stuff. Does PETA still have animal shelters and have animal rescues? Yes, definitely. But PETA gets millions of dollars per year. Could more animals be saved if PETA put all that money to use? Of course! But again, PETA focuses on doing publicity stunts and spreading awareness rather than actually doing the dirty stuff (and it does do a LOTTTTTTT of rescues still). local animal shelters is where you want to donate most of your money because they're the ones who actually help animals.

PETA helps animals but it gets wayyyyyyy too much money and it can help even more but it doesn't. They use a lot of their money for commercials, ads, paying celebs to pose naked, etc etc. all of that superficial stuff appeals to the public so i guess if your audience is stupid then you have to use stupid methods and that's exactly what PETA does

In fact, they admit themselves that their job is not to go out there and rescue each and every animal off the street and help them find a home. that's your local humane society's job or the humane society of US or ASPCA. PETA's main focus is on how crappy the animals are treated in factory farms.

ZERO.
They actually own & run several KILL shelters, because they would rather the animals die than are "owned" by people!

They only do things to DEMONSTRATE and get their name in the News.
They don't do ANYTHING to actually help animals.

PETA building no-kill shelters, cleaning litter from the woods, pulling trash out of rivers, planting trees, maybe buying wetlands so animals can live in peace? Yeah.. I don't think so..

PETA's only job is to make complete fools of themselves. And they succeed every time..
