What is it that makes people think vegan diets cannot provide nutrition?!
I just see all of these questions with kids asking for help about their parents, because they are convinced that we do not get enough nutrients.
All necessary vitamins, amino acids, minerals, etc. can either be created synthetically or found in some vegan whole food. What makes people think otherwise?

People will believe anything they are told. That is the reason we use, abuse and consume animals. It is the reason we do a lot of the wrong things we do. When we see someone acting differently or with a different opinion we see them as wrong is some way.
Also a lot of times people see one persyn who made a mistake or whatever and assume they are an entire group. In most cases this is false especially in veganism. Apparently somebody has seen a sickly vegan and assumed all vegans are like that. I personally have never seen a sickly vegan and I meet a lot of them through activism and other venues. I am sure there are a few out there as there are sickly people everywhere eating all sorts of stuff.
I see stuff like this all the time. There was someone recently asking a question about dairy or cruelty or something of that nature, I answered and she attacked me saying she grew up around a few farmed animals so she could speak for billions upon billions of others and how they are treated. People love that idea of being able to say oh I know this one thing or tiny percentage or number of something so it talks about everything. People also love, love, love to have a way to either show off or prove themselves. They want to make themselves out to look better than you if you have a differing ideal or belief.
Honestly for every sickly vegan they find I could probably find 100 sick or fairly unhealthy omnivores or lacto-ovo vegetarians. Vegans are more likely to keep in better shape and they aren't eating the garbage that comes from eating animals and a lot less junky stuff over all.
Veganism is more than a diet.
vegan because animals are not property
I think a lot of people are made to believe by society that meat = protein, and dairy = calcium, and there is no other source of either. So naturally, when you cut out those food groups, they're going to question where you're getting your nutrients. Of course, there are other (vegan) sources of almost every necessary nutrient, it's just that a lot of people don't realize that.
Often when people leave a meat-eating diet for a vegetarian or vegan diet they become sick or ill. This is b/c of the sudden lack of nutrients that the meat had provided them. B/c of this people wrongfully assume that a vegan or vegetarian diet is not as healthy/ does not provide enough nutrition. But you know what they say when you assume. When you assume . . . you're just an idiot.
