Where are you from? Is it difficult to be a vegetarian/vegan in your area?!
Answers:
I live in Tucson, Arizona, and it's easy to be a vegan here. We have one fully vegan restaurant, and several with vegan options, Whole Foods, Sunflower Market, Trader Joes, and some nice mainstream grocery stores that carry some vegan brands.
New York City is probably one of the most vegan friendly places in the United States if not the world...they have fantastic Whole Foods with buffet meals in the middle (which is SO unlike where I live), yummy vegan restaurants and bakeries, many other grocery stores, and being vegan isn't a foreign concept there so you can be constantly accomodated...I definitely intend to move there someday. There are plenty of lists you can google to find veg-friendly cities, and it seems there are a lot of them in the world.
I live in the UK and it's fairly vegan friendly.
Being vegetarian was very simple here. Every product is required to tell you whether it's vegetarian so it made it such a lot easier.
Unfortunately there isn't the same compulsion on vegan foods, although I try to stick to wholefoods mainly, which don't have such a long list of ingredients.
At least everyone here has heard of veganism, so even if restaurants etc don't have a vegan meal on their menu they're always aware of what foods are vegan so are able to make adjustments.

I live in New Zealand, and here it's generally not too difficult to be a vegan. There are farmers markets and organic produce stores, and I cook most of my own meals, but several restaurants have vegan options and most have vegetarian ones. I come originally from Portland, Oregon, and I realize now how vegan-friendly that city is, with several vegan restaurants, raw restaurants, and even a vegan strip club :).
Eating abroad and domestic.
I lived in Boulder, CO. It is one of THE healthiest cities in the country. There are even vegan fast food places, we have the hightest grossing Whole Foods in the country, people are really into organic food, farmers markets, locally produced food. It's a joke that people from Boulder are hippies..lot's of them are...there are a lot of white people with dreadlocks here....
Definitely the best place to be if you are health conscious (everyone bikes, runs, skateboards, walks...the creek is buzzing with active people year round)
Stuff is more expensive though..
I've heard NYC is very vegan friendly, but that's about all I know.
I live in Sydney, Australia, and it's very easy to be vegan here. The only problem is that the best vegan restaurants are in the city and it can be a hassle to go there, especially just for one meal. Then again I tend to cook all my food at home anyway, so I don't suppose it matters. :)
I'm in Cincinnati, OH and I wouldn't say it's the most vegan friendly place, there are some vegan restaurants and options here and there but it's not vegan paradise. I would think that NYC and California are very vegan friendly. And like someone else said, globally I would think India.
I'm in Canada, Ontario. It's somewhat easy to get vegetarian food. There's some sections in my grocery store but no restaurants or anything. Things like tofu are still considered hippie and weird.
Though I live in a small-ish city, like 100 000 people.
I live near Buffalo, NY. I think it's pretty easy to be vegan in just about any American city. There are some places where it may be difficult to have a nice meal out, but anyplace with a well stocked grocery store will do.
I grew up in San Francisco.
If you can't be vegetarian/vegan there, you can't be vegetarian/vegan anywhere.
Globally, I would expect India to be the most vegetarian friendly.
I'm from Maryland, and the D.C. area is very veg*n-friendly. There are two veg restaurants in my town, and three health food stores.
