Do you have to eat so much of certain foods to stay healthy if your a vegetarian?!

Question: Do you have to eat so much of certain foods to stay healthy if your a vegetarian?
So lately I've been considering becoming a vegetarian. I'm 13 so I don't really think about what I eat too much now. If I were to become a vegetarian would I have to eat so much of certain foods a day to get all the nutrition I need? I would really appreciate an answer. Also any other info you have about being a vegetarian would be very helpful. Thank you :)

make sure to drink lots of water, and take a muliti-vitiman ( check to make sure it says its vegetarian tho!)

good for you for wanting to be a healthy vegetarian, so so so many people these days either don't think and just eat a bunch of chips and cookies or be a veggie to loose weight and don't think either. because you aware and trying to be careful thats a good start, you could talk to a nutritionist and have him or her plan out meals/offer you advice about healthy eating. its hard to get all the nutrients you need without eating meat, but definitely doable!

listen to your body! and if your body ends up craving meat, don't deny it what it wants.

good luck!!

Beans.
Lots and lots of beans,
and fruit.
If you actually want to be healthy,
you also have to take Omega-3 pills.
If you want my opinion, don't become vegetarian.
I'd want to go back to eating meat, but I really can't now. It grosses me out and I'm not as healthy and strong as I should be because of it.

You just eat a large group of foods
You can easily get all the nutrients you need
You do not need to take any supplements
You might find it easier if you get a wall chart from the Vegetarian/Vegan Society
Good Luck

Try beans, if you dont like them there are many recipes that taste like meat but is vegetarian food hope this helps and could you answer my question on my profile thanks!
