Why did God make the animal kingdom so cruel?!

Question: Why did God make the animal kingdom so cruel?
I've been watching these videos on Youtube of the animal kingdom and I couldn't help but wonder why God made the way for animals to survive so cruel. I saw this Zebra, and although it put up a fight with the lion, it had huge gashes on it's neck gushing blood and I heard it squealing. The herd fled and the Zebra got left behind and it's just so sad how beautiful animals have to fight each other to stay alive, inflicting as much pain as they can so that they can feed themselves or their children. I just don't get why God, who's suppose to be the benevolent entity even "thought" of this way for things to happen.

What really breaks my heart is how the animal getting eaten tries it's best to remain alive, the will to survive is so strong in animals and they don't give up until they are dead. It's just like fcuk! These animals feel pain and it must be painful to have your body being ripped apart by an animal's huge canine teeth. Or for an animal to be wrapped by an anaconda and crushed to death or drowned and then chewed to pieces. I feel so bad for these animals because they don't want to die!

This is why I became a vegetarian, I just can't get over the cruelty factor even if it is just apart of life!! If you really start to understand animals and realize that they have feelings it's so sad.

? It is a law of nature.?

It's only sick from our point of view as we would be natural prey and we can tell how an animal is feeling. Carnivores don't realize they're ending an animal's life, they just see it and get it. God isn't an animal so he wouldn't see things our way. It's hard to say exactly why God created anything though.

Animals kill to survive. Have you noticed that us humans kill for fashion, experiments, and just for no reason.

I wouldn't call the animal kingdom cruel hun.

They have instinct to survive so it's a human's fault if they get to close to a wild animal.

Because life feeds on life, if some animals didn't eat other animals then populations would get out of control.

isnt that just more evidence that god did NOT make the animal kingdom?

When primitive biblical people saw a UFO to them it was a God. How many times does the bible mention, God coming out of the sky in a flaming chariot with smoke and noise? Gather all the religious people in the world and have a giant prayer session petitioning God to show up and nothing will happen. The reason why God stopped showing up is because mankind gained more knowledge and now we call them UFOs instead of Gods. Google, "Vatican Observatory", this is probably why in 2008 the Pope himself said, "We should accept the fact that there are other civilizations".

Actually, He didn't. According to the Bible...
"And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so."

The second sentence refers to all the other animals on earth, saying they are to eat the green herbs. Humans are to eat every seed-bearing plant.
It's really hard to determine what's the truth since there are so many arguments and beliefs out there. You really have to go with YOUR own true feelings and what you believe humans and animals were meant to do.
I personally believe that humans were meant to eat plants, but we evolved into omnivores over time.

It's the law of nature. Gods rule. It's not sick but looking at it can be disturbing. The lion is a seasoned hunter with millions of years of instinct behind it.
Do you think the lion is going to go after the strongest zebra?
He(( no. It's going after the weakest - survival of the fittest is the law of our world even now.
Without that loss of one weak zebra, we are not over run with too many zebras because our lion population keeps them in check.
Our lions breeding season and availability to breed depends on how healthy they are.
Get the picture?

I’m not religious, and I’m not a believer in god.
I however have an understanding of the bible.. I was raised in the church and was pretty much kicked out for challenging the pastor on his way of speaking because it is not accurate to the bible..

But According the bible, God did not make animals cruel. In fact he made them peaceful. After the whole adam and eve thing that’s when the sh!t hit the fans and that’s when the animals became what you call cruel. So.... Stop blaming god for the worlds problems. Its like a cop out.
Haha but you know.. I would say people are worse then animals.

______
I also figured I needed to add.. People are moving closer and closer to the wild, they are moving into their territory, City’s are growing larger. Animals are being forced to live in smaller areas, and trying to stay away from humans however for many that is not possible and they end up living near humans.

One of the main reasons an animal would attack a human is if they are very sick, extremely starved, or something has gone wrong. We are on top of the food chain. And in some cases animals are threatened by this. Like example a bear attack, We are more threatening then other animals so it scares them.

What makes you think there's a god?

Vegetarian

Because there is no god. The Earth and all the lifeforms on it evolved into what they are today. Its Nature. In nature, animals kill and eat animals.
