Question: Vegan foods that are very tough and chewy?
Basically I LOVE foods that are tough and a real effort to chew. I haven't had anything like that in a while though, and my jaw is getting restless! :P

Any suggestions? It can be any sort of food - by that I mean it can be a snack, meal, dessert, whatever (so long as it's vegan of course). Just something very hard and chewy that can basically exercise my jaw. :)

Probably very close to what you're looking for. It's also quite tasty.



A humble stalk of raw celery might be all that you're looking for. I find celery to be very chewy and quite delicious. Not the most exciting food in the world yet one of my all-time favorites. Happy chewing!



Try Cascadian Farm Fruit & Nut Granola. It's super crunchy, and the dried fruit is chewy and dense, it definitley gives your jaw a work out, and it's de-lish!
