Do omnivores eat venison?

The answer to your question is yes and no. Some do and some don't. One doesn't have to be a vegetarian or a vegan to eat kelp, anyway.

I've tried a few different kinds of seaweed with my veggie sushi, but no kelp yet. I'd like to try a seaweed salad, but I can't find anywhere that sells them fresh.

Some Vegetarians and Vegans do eat kelp, yes.

People who like it do and believe it or not, some people who are not vegetarians eat kelp too!

the salt water smell from the kelp reminds one of salt water fish. So we avoid it. It is not a technical definition what one is looking at. It is what the heart accepts
