is guar gum made of gelatine?!
im a muslim and cant eat gelatine so i was wondering if guar gum contained gelatine please help! thanks

Guar gum, Xanthan Gum, Gum Arabic and Agar are all plant based gelling agent, Pectin to is made from apples and pears, Gelatin in it own right is made from cartilage,skin, bones and tendons of either pigs or cows, sometimes sheep.
Guar gum comes from beans.
It is used as a substitute for gelatin.
Agar agar gums and carnauba wax are also alternatives for gelatin.
Vegetarian
Gruar Gum the ground endosperm of guar beans. The beans are hulled, millked and then ground.
